Here at Kestrel, we love to help budding weather enthusiasts learn about the importance of monitoring environmental conditions in all types of industries and activities, especially aviation. This summer, we donated a Kestrel 3500 Pocket Weather Meter to EEA KidVenture in Oshkosh, Wisconsin.  Located at Pioneer Airport, EEA KidVenture offers hands-on activities for aspiring aviators to learn about the crucial role weather plays in flying aircraft. Our donation helped program directors demonstrate to their young participants how pilots obtain accurate and up-to-the-minute weather in remote locations. Tina Stott, KidVenture organizer, stated, “The youth that attended KidVenture 2015 loved the hands-on experience. A large number of parents found the product interesting and asked to participate as well.” The Kestrel 3500 was featured in one of 10 booths dedicated to flight education and became a hit attraction for all participants regardless of age.
