    I did my research and decided I wanted a Kestrel 1000.
    I found it for sale on the Extreme Meters web site and the price was the
    same as Amazon and they both had generous return policies so I ordered it from
    Extreme Meters. I ordered it on Monday and received it on Saturday.
    I received an email notice when I ordered it, when it was shipped and when I
    received it. And it was just what I wanted. I have not used it much yet,
    I plan to use it on my boat.
    So it was all good.

    We’ve only begun to use it - getting basic data on blower output from our AC unit and on our sailboat to view wind speed at deck level. Wind speeds look reasonable, but we have limited data we can use as a control. A readout that is a little larger, thus easier to read, would be better.

    I'm glad you are putting the Kestrel 1000 to use on your sailboat. The screen size is about as big as it can get without sacrificing other important features. If you are looking for a larger screen size, the Kestrel 5 series meters have a slightly larger screen. Thank you for the review!
