Excellent field weather meter. Very accurate and easy to handle.
The only minus (for which I took one star off) is a very short Bluetooth range - if I move more than 2m with the phone from the meter, it gets disconnected. BT is supposed to have around 10m range.

I’m happy because without you I don’t shall use my kestrel. Unfortunately I have loose the part during a race.
I can use my Kestrel 3000 again to measure wind velocity before I spray pesticides or herbicides after I replaced the battery cover I ordered from Extreme Meters. Fast and friendly service and will use them again and recommend them to fellow broadcasters.

Bought this Kestrel 3550 AG as an upgrade to the 2500 given for me to use at a previous job. I like that it connects to an app for record keeping and is easily calibrated out in the field. I made this purchase in August after doing a sulfur spray in a sheltered canyon. In November now and it has helped keep the sprays on target.
